Born in 1972 in Tripoli, Libya. Nabela Toman’s paintings are the human products wretchedness of the war and the Israeli army’s periodical incursions and destructions in the Gaza strip. For Toman, art is a therapeutic endeavor that allows her to deal with the terrifying memories that are etched in her soul. Nabela completed her Bachelors degree at Al Fateh University in Tripoli, Libya. She relocated to Gaza after she married Iyad Sabbah, a fellow artist.
