Nasrin Abu Baker
|Country:||Palestinian Territory, Occupied|
Born in 1977 in Zalafa Village, Nasrin Abu Baker holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Bait-Berl College. Her works not only apply a variety of media but also capture a number of cultural symbols and concepts that dance between the fine lines of human attachments and the fine space between poetry and politics. Clearly visible in her works are elements of anguish and rebellion mostly by female subject matters as if to assert their presence through vibrant colors and expressive postures. One can see the clear influence of the German expressionist school in many of her works.
